If you like to have a drink ever so often, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all money, credit cards and checks out of the casino. Grab whatever cash you anticipate to spend on alcohol, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to lose and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You might have a profit following a boozy night out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hook a long toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and wager. The two just do not mix.
Keeping your cash back at the hotel might be a little excessive, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you wager to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to toss aside your $$$$ nary a worry, then consume all the free booze you can handle, but do not pack plastic credit and checkbooks to toss into the mix of following losses after your inebriated self throws away all the cash!
Let me to take this one step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the internet to play in your preferred online casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my house, but seeing that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
What’s the reason? Even though I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s absolutely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
