I have been wagering on the net or at land based gambling halls for a lot of years. I have been taught, the fixation usually will grab a hold of you and you will not even see it up until you are beaten. Especially if you are on a run. I have gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and still on occasion, I can go too far. It seems you are only enjoying yourself until you decide to consider your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you keep advising yourself "I will be able to win the money back" ad infinitum. It doesn’t work. Then you feel sick to your gut and the more you attempt the more rapidly you give away.
When you find that you are ahead, Remain in the Black! When you begin to lose, don’t convince yourself, "well only maybe one more" over and over again, believe in me, this method RARELY ever works. Say you plan on wagering on one armed bandits, keep a pot set aside ahead of starting your gambling. DO NOT exceed that range, no matter how tempting. If you happen to succeed, put the winnings in a different pot. Do not wager your winnings at any cost. Once you have wagered through your initial set threshold, stop. Back off, whether it is on the web or at a land based gambling hall, don’t stay around. At all times remember, there no doubt will be other days, another time. Clearly, this plan can work for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, electronic poker, keno, blackjack or any other casino game.
Remember, betting should be delightful not demanding, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you don’t belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the losses, do not ever begin.
