Do Not Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a cocktail every so often, keep your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your money belt, and keep all cash, charge cards and chequebooks back at the hotel. Pack only the money you expect to spend on drinks, tips and few dollars you expect to squander and leave the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You might have a profit following a intoxicated evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to catch a long toss at a hot craps table. Keep that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and wager. The two just do not go well together.

Leaving your moola out of the casino might be a little bit dramatic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is required. If you play to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you like to throw aside your money nary a concern, then drink all the gratuitous booze you are able to handle, but don’t carry charge cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your dead drunk brain throws away all the cash!

Allow me to carry this one step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on to the internet to play in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a beer from the comfort of my apartment, but due to the fact that I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink and wager.

Why? Even though I do not consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is clearly enough to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t wager at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and crazy, cocktail.
